Eleventh Chocolate Lily Book Awards Announced

VANCOUVER

The Chocolate Lily Book Award – Chapter Book Category was won by Julie Lawson, author of Ghosts of the Titanic.  Second place was a tie – Glen Huser, author of The Runaway and Norma Charles, author of Run Marco Run.

The Chocolate Lily Book Award – Picture Book Category was won by Tom Saunders, author and Cynthia Nugent, illustrator of I want to go to  the Moon.  Second place went to Michal Kozlowski, author of Louis the tiger Who Came from the Sea.

This year’s Gala was graciously hosted by Heath Traditional Elementary School, Delta.

Nominated titles for 2013/2014 will be announced June 22nd, 2013.
