What are you reading for October?
In the Library this month, you’ll find books about harvest, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, apples, being generous and thankfulness.
For our grade 4 and 5’s: don’t forget to check out books from our “Survival Stories for Kids” display. The Scholastic series (http://www.scholastic.ca/) “I Survived” has been very popular, and … if you like those, there are many other survival and adventure stories to choose from!

What are mystery books? “The mystery genre is a type of fiction in which a detective, or other professional, solves a crime or series of crimes. It can take the form of a novel or short story.
